I was there as the door opened this morning. The Tuesday Morning store here had a good assortment of fat quarters and fat eight bundles and a few jelly rolls. It's the same precuts the Walmart sells but a cheaper price for the bundles. I didn't buy any fabric though. I found two quilt kits to make quilts for The Quilts of Valor program. Very pretty fabric for $19 a kit. There was only two kits and another lady really wanted them to make for the program so I passed them on to her. There was only two of the 6 1/2" by 24" rulers ($5) so I kept both of them but left one of the two circle cut rulers ($6) . I also bought several of the 4 1/2" and 6 1/2" square rulers ($2 each). I found the fine line disappearing marking pens, 3 for .99. I bought all of them. I was surprised I was the only one shopping for the rulers. Oh I found Fons and Porter's big green cutting mats for $8 each. I pulled them out of the bottom shelf and put them where they could be seen and still be flat. The employee at least knew to keep them flat but they were hidden where she had them.

I was there on Saturday to check and they hadn't put it out! I still may go tomorrow!

I went this morning. Got a jelly roll, 2 fat quarter bundles, a circle ruler, 4-1/2 and 6-1/2 inch fussy cut rulers, 3 packs of machine quilting needles for 99 cents, and 2 cute pin cushions. Wish I'd known to look for the cutting mats. And I don't know why I passed up the fine line markers. I'd like to check out another store but I have company this week and won't have a chance.

We have one that I know of in Fort Wayne, but I have always been disappointed in the sewing/craft selection, so decided I wasn't spending the gas to go look. From some of the other's comments, I think I made a good choice.

I did go. Sounds like they had the same things in most stores. I did not see any cutting mats. Got sewing machine quilting needles, very reasonable. Also I few rulers for a friend just starting quilting. they had two different partiotic quilt kits, but i passed on them. Got a June Tailor fusible cotton batt. I hope it is better than her fusible poly batt. Our store has had some Fons and Porter things for quite a while. I wonder where they are getting the stuff. A store gone out of business or??

Tuesday Morning stores get overstocks or discontinued items from high end stores and shops. Most of Tuesday Morning's furniture is Thomasville and Ethan Allen. The same corp. owns Big Lots. Big Lots gets the inventory that is not considered high end and gets Tuesday Mornings items that does not sell so every now and then I find great items at Big Lots.
