Does anyone have instructions to make a cute, easy turkey pin cushion?? I need to do a demo for my quilt guild in November. I thought a cute, easy turkey pin cushion would be fun. But, I haven't been able to find one! I thought I'd give each member a kit and pattern to make one, as well as doing the demo.
    Thanks for your help-- Becky

I know this is a chicken pattern but you could just change /add the head pieces to look a little more like a turkey maybe?

This one is a cute pattern. It could be used as a pin cushion. Just make it out of cotton instead of the felt. I saw a different one made out of fabric where they did a turkey body then his tail was yo yo's that got bigger as they went back from his body. I think it had 3 yo yos. I can't find the site it was on now..I will look and see if I can locate it again. It looked like ti would be an easy one to do. Hope this helps you..crafty_linda_b

This one is simular...the one I saw had an actual body in front of the yo yo's. The body was shaped kinda like a bowling pin if that makes any sense?? So the stuffed body part could be used as the pin cushion part. I thought I saved it and will keep looking in my favorites thru the 1,000's of patterns I have save to make...at this rate I will have to live to be 500 years old to make them all *L* Thanks crafty_linda_b

here is a link for a turkey pincushion http://sewing.craftgossip.com/tutori...s/2009/11/20/.

also i have found that looking for stuffed animal patterns of the beast you have in mind works and you can always convert them to pincushions. i wanted to make a frog pincushion but searched & searched and could not find one. i typed in frog beanie and got several frog patterns. i made it into a frog pincushion.
