Looking for other members interested in wool applique quilts like Sue Spargo and others.

I have taught myself how to handdye my own wools and have quite a stash built up.

    Let's get together and talk!

    Hi,

I would love to learn. I go to 2 fiber shows a year here in Indiana and lots of cool things to see at the shows.

Do you have any pictures of the wool applique quilts you have done?

some more pics - she includes instructions for 4 new stitches each month.

Notice the stitch around the white / turquoise large bloom - it was really fun to do.

Roxanne, those are beautiful! Would you please bring them to our get-together on the 26th? I'd love to see them in person. I made our Christmas stockings out of wool, but they pale in comparison to these. The stockings were my first wool projects and I'd love to do more. Thanks for sharing!

I am also working on another wall hanging.

Let me ask- would you be interested in an organized project or do you already have projects going that you would like to share and discuss techniques?

I would be happy to organize something if we all have access to materials etc. I wil post some links for patterns for some ideas for projects.

Okay - will do - I also dye my own wool. But that's another story!
