I hadn't made anything with purple as the dominant color, but my daughter's best friend since 5th grade loves purple. She was at our house so much that she became my "other daughter." I made this quilt for her.

Sorry the lighting was really awful in the picture... :-(

Oh and...I forgot to say! I bought a jelly roll that was predominantly purple for the strips.
