A friend completed a queen-size quilt in purples for her mother. She used a beautiful French Braid, I believe with the separator bands, and quilted the columns before completing the quilt. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the quilt here at work, but believe me, her mother was ecstatic--me, I was just green with envy.

I'm in the process of making a purple tube quilt. Just need to quilt it, bind it and it will be done.

    Hi Dina,
Go to search (above) and put An Angel for My Sister by Sunlover and it is the purple quilt I made for my sister. Purples are beautiful in quilts

I made a "Strip Twist" quilt for my niece for Christmas 2008 in all hues of purple. She loved it.

We give our guild president a quilt at the end of her term and one of our president's wanted a very simple purple quilt. Here's a photo of her proudly showing it off.

I love purple! Here's one I did using purple and teal. Since the white fabric had a tiny print of purple and teal running through it that looked like threads and it is a spools pattern, I named it "Tangled Threads".
