I quilt or sew just about everyday, one of the perks of being retired. I have several projects I'm working on.

Love the robot, it's so cute! I'm working on finishing three rag quilts. Two are done and everything is cut & starched for the last one. They're all rag quilts. The sewing part is easy but yikes what a mess to get them to fray!

SuzyM, your pineapple quilt will be so bright and pretty!

I'll be starting a set of placemats shortly, for my DD.

I don't think I'll have time to quilt this weekend. I'm baking and decorating Christmas cookies this weekend. Hopefully Monday after my mammogram, I'll get back in my room to work on a few things.

Oh how I wish I was sewing this weekend, but the sewing room is all packed up for our move to GA in Feb. DH wanted the space for storing packed boxes. Don't know how much he's going to be able to store in there. My boxes take up most of the room and I have at least one more for finished quilts... and then there's the books. lol

I'm making an owl panel quilt for my soon-to-be grandson, my daughter wanted a fleece backing for extra softness so, not knowing any better (since I've never used it), I bought ultra cuddle fabric. Oh that stuff is hard to work with, it stretches like mad width-wise, so much unpinning (and a little unsewing), smoothing and repinning working my way from the center out. But I have the quilting I intend to do done (which isn't a great deal) and have it sewn all around the edges for binding prep, hopefully I'll be able to get the binding on tomorrow without any bunching or puckering or much (more) cursing.

I'm sewing this weekend as well. I have finally started a new quilt for me in greens and pinks with roses on it. So girly. I finished all the 9 patch blocks yesterday and I have to cut the solid blocks today. I'm making an Irish chain. Th solid is a white on white with a rose pattern. Here's a peek at the 9 patches.

We spent the biggest part of the day yesterday processing a deer. Today I'm marking the background grid on my wholecloth. I can't wait to finally be able to sink my needle into it!
