Default Anyone sewing today? (Sunday 2/13)

Hi friends! What are you all working on today? I finished up the quilting for a fun star quilt and cut batting for 4 small kids quilts that I'll get started on this week. I organized my project bags and picked out what UFO I'm working on next! I have a scrap quilt of oranges and turquoise that is calling my name.

Maybe my biggest weekend accomplishment is that I vacuumed the sewing area which picked up all the little triangle dog ear trimmings that had taken over the floor!

I'm also hoping to fuse a few more applique blocks so I can do some handwork while watching TV.

Anyone doing handwork while watching the game?

I started out this morning finishing up a scrappy floppy, then put it on the frame for quilting, and just took it off the frame and getting ready to bind it.

I also made a pan of baked mac & cheese, and have a cheesecake in the oven right now.

As to the game, haven't had any interest in that for years.

I've been quilting my Feb. UFO. I hope to get the rest of the quilting finished tomorrow or Tues. Then back to my WIPs so they don't become UFOs LOL.

That was my plan, but I ended up taking a nap instead. But the day isn't over. I've been working on going through the stuff in my sewing room - the boxes and bins of fabric to see what I have and put it in some kind of order. That in itself is fun

I'm making a Donna Jordan quilt. Forgot the name of it but I'm using batiks. I just finished the BYH mystery and wanted something easy and mindless.
The only thing is I don't like the way batik fabric smells!

    Default anyone quilting today?

Yep. Still working a quilt these three years now. I do a little bit each day. I do only about 20 minutes max. That's why sometimes it takes a long time to finish a project. Oh by the way Happy Valentine Day to everyone.
