dollar tree, big lots and 99 cent stores all have some great bargains if you are there at the right time, and different ones have different things...it is so fun to go and see what is there.....

I get the drawing pads for paper piecing. 60 sheets for $1 - I do have to trim them to 8-1/2 x 11 to fit my printer, but that is easy and they work great.

I'll have to check and see if and where Dollar Tree is. Thanks for the tip.

I have bought the black mesh back rests at our Dollar Tree.
They sell these at the quilt shows. Great buy for a buck.

Yeah, the quality can vary widely, but for a dollar I feel I can gamble a bit: have bought a dud or two, but also have gotten some good needles.

Love the cute dress form. I'll have to look harder at our dollar tree.

Wow. The only thing I have found there are the hair clips you wonderful people told me about to use with my lack of skill with binding. Amazing how something so simple has opened a new world to me!

My sister bought 20 bags of Nestle's Tollhouse Chocolate Chips at our Family Dollor store yesterday for $1.07 per bag. Don't know why they were so cheap. Date doesn't run out till Dec 2012. We put in the freezer to save for Christmas fudge & Toffee. Lady at Dollor General told sis that not all the stores get the same thing. We have 3 stores in our small town & another 10 miles away & 2 Family Dollor stores. You just never know.
