Here is what I did the other day, I seen these cute little sewing bags for a $1.00. I took everything out of the bag, cut the handles off and made them like a makeup or bag for all the small items roaming the bottom of my purse. Then I took the sewing notions from the orginal bag and made pin cushions. All for a dollar, what do you think?

ok, give me a minute to download the pics

I had to go check out our DT ... NO quilt books but did leave with a few things ! *Other Sewing/quilting items I've found at DT:
Cute wire mesh baskets in lime green, turq. & yellow
    Plastic boxes for whatever
Black mesh back rests - but haven't seen them again
Plastic cutting board sheets - for templates
Notebooks /dividers/ sheet protectors - for saving patterns
and more things I'm sure but can't think of right now ...
*Also shower curtains - GREAT for painting dropcloths & MUCH better than the flimsy saran wrap kind the Home improv. stores sell. Also rubber gloves and black garden gloves :)

Wow - I never thought about those plastic cutting sheet for templates. That is just the best idea. Thanks. Will also pick up a couple of shower curtains - I have glass shower doors but the curtains are so handy for many other thing. Thanks again for the info.

I'll be heading that direction tomorrow. I may hit Big Lots also just to see if they have anything. Hopefully I'll be able to find one of those back supports.
