I am packing to go to Dollywood and roam around Gatlinburg. When we get back I am going on a 4 day quilt retreat. I love being retired.

Why of course. I am always ready for quilting. I have already been working on one this morning before church. I will continue after lunch this afternoon. One of the ladies at church will be coming over this afternoon and we will be working on quilted christmas ornaments for a while. Then I will go back to piecing the second tube quilt for a christmas present. I am busy with my christmas sewing during this time of the year.

It's Sunday morning and after the laundry is finished I have to go to work. BUT between customers I will be tracing new applique patterns that I just had enlarged. A whole bunch for seascapes, a bear with a salmon to go with three other bears and a moose, a clematis, a whole bunch for a garden quilt, big horn sheep and a lady golfer. Plenty to do!

Picture of most of the enlargements, all four bags full!

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, today, I have been working on hand sewing the binding on the quilt that I'm making for my brother. It has been a learning curve do me as this is the first time doing this task.

The quilt that I'm working on is at the following link: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...r-t199657.html

I sure love your Attic Wiindows blocks.

No quilting today since I'm having a family gathering. I'll be leaving for Ariz. for the winter soon & my DGD is leaving for an educational trip to London in 2 wks. so this might be our last chance to be all together.

I watched Suzanne McNeill's video on "5 minute blocks" Fri. so I decided to make a block so I'd remember how to do it. I ended up with a cute tabletopper since I only had enough of that fabric for one block. It was so easy.

I'll try to put a pix into the QB's pix section.
