Went to church, cooking Thanksgiving dinner (trial run because hubby thinks I might have forgotten how to do it from last year!) Taking furniture to son's house, then hopefully quilting later today. Actually I am making some fabric bowls for my sister to sell at her craft show in CA.

I plan to start cutting some 1", 1 3/4', and 2" strips so I can begin Ditter's string quilt. I am making this quilt using white and off-white strips. Thanks for the tutorial you posted on the board Ditter.

Been working on my third christmas tree skirt, have 8 squares now pinned together in addition to having the center 3 panels sewn together. It is an Ohio star pattern and I have drawn 4 santas in the white squares on this one. The first one I did for myself, has winnie the pooh winter scenes in, the second one is green and white with snowmen drawn in the squares. I still have to quilt the snowman one, bind winnie the pooh one, and the last one has alot of sewing left. I pray I get them done before December.

I got the squares done for my neice's quilt. Now just to lay it out.

Also pressed the fabric for another neice's quilt.

NO it is beautiful outside today and I am going to the hills to enjoy the colours of the trees and pick-up apples and cider.

I just read all of this and it is now Sunday night here. I sandwiched a quilt yesterday morning and started quilting it yesterday while doing laundry and a few other chores. I finished quilting it today after more laundry and cleaning floors. I fixed a real nice roast in crock pot and started hand sewing to the back. I now have fabrics picked out for my next quilt, just need to settle on a pattern. That is what I will be thinking about while I finish the binding. It is dark thread on dark fabric, after dark it gets much harder to see. I work a full time job so will be sewing after work.
