I just finished quilting 2 baby quilts, all trimmed and raw edges zig zagged in preparation for binding.

What pattern are you using for the train quilt? I have some beautiful train border to use on a twin sized quilt and I have no idea what to do with the middle.

I see your blocks for the train quilt are in circles. What is the pattern? Do you use a template or is it just cut using a compass?

I finished my barnyard quilt by Amy Bradley top and a table runner for my living room this weekend. I cleaned Saturday so I rewarded myself with a sewing day Sunday. I always wonder who else is spending the day sewing when I do.

Tonight is my quilt group night so I will be putting the binding on a Christmas table topper & having fun with five other friends I have not seen in over a month.

    Happy Quilting Day to Everyone

We wake up early a lot of the time too. I worked on my Monster quilt today - not a big quilt but a baby quilt with monsters appliqued on it. Getting ready to head back to the sewing room shortly. Have 1 more pieced border to put on and then I can layer it.

Hope you had a nice day and got lots done.

I cut 5" blocks for an I-Spy Quilt. At a church where I am teaching Job Skills to young ladies in a halfway house. They are all enthusiastic, and two of them actually started handsewing blocks together! They couldn't wait until Thurs. when I take my sewing machines! I got a lot of blocks cut out, and actually got to take some of them home! Wed., going to a sewing group in TX City for the first time.
