Applique Friends: Take a look at the quilts shown at this site: http://quiltsinthebarnaus.blogspot.com/. This site was posted within Judy Martin's newsletter. The barn is in Australia and there are some wonderful, wonderful applique quilts shown. Suzanne

It is to be applique, looks a bit difficult, but some of us can do this. Note it one block a week. Oh baby!!! Can we keep up?

I would love to do this but can't. I am still recovering from identity theft/hacking and don't have extra funds for the book or for more material. I have lots of material on hand to keep me busy though. :)

On My goodness those quilts are so pretty, I love your colors.
    I agree, very nicely done.
Here I go getting behind again as there is a lady out sick at my job this week so I will be filling in for her which means not alot of sewing...hmmm job or sewing? lol

Don't you hate it when work interferes with our sewing? Unfortunately I need to still work....if nothing else in order to support this hobby!
He He...yep, but i have to tell ya because my paychecks have been alittle bigger I have gone on a few lil shopping sprees. So I guess that is a nice lil pay off.
I am working on two applique projects-doing one hand stitch sewing and about to start the machine stitched one.

Most of my applique is dogs. I have done some flowers, as in 'Happy Daisies'. I will have to look and see what I might have left. I give most of my stuff away.

    Here are the dogs.

I just absolutely loved that dog quilt when you posted it. Can't wait to see more.

Nooooo....don't cancel it. If we cancel it, I might have to work and I want to quilt that day. :)

YAY!!!!!!! Thank you. You just have to convince people to bring in food so you don't have to cook or go out and then when you get home quilt. :)

I'll let you know if that works for me.
