Count me in! I love to applique and would enjoy seeing others work. I usually do the needle turn method but am open to learning other methods.

I certainly call it applique! There are many gorgeous things you can do with different threads, different stitches to do the edging, etc. We should not put down handcrafted things we do with our hands and our machines!

I just took a machine applique class and thoroughly enjoyed it. I haven't done any applique work yet. I would like to do hand applique also since I enjoy hand work. Count me in.

I have been hooked on applique for several years now, the more I do the more I want to do. Have stepped "out of the box" and even done some fused applique Cant get everything done without a few short cuts.
Even have been teaching a little--it is great fun!

I absolutely love applique. Did any of you know about the Applique Society? Here is a link to their website:

    http://www.theappliquesociety.org/

Also saw a vidcast on Bonnie McCaffrey's website on the tentmakers of Cairo exhibit. Absolutely amazing! Here is a link to that vidcast:

I prefer machine applique, mainly because I need instant gratification that I get by finishing quickly. However I also do needle turn applique which is portable and relaxing.

Looking forward to learning more from all of you.

I applique using raw edges to "dress up" some of my scrap quilts and sometimes insert embroidered squares. I have been given lots of scraps and am using them for donation quilts to "Binky Patrol" and "Project Linus".
