Which applique method?
Hey Y'all!
I'm making some major progress on the attached baby quilt for my niece. I've got it machine basted down to the center part of the background. (That yellow basting thread will be removed.) But now I'm pondering the best method of appliqueing it down... Invisible Machine Applique or just a Top/Edge stitch or what?
All the edges are turned under with freezer paper underneath - so no raw edges to deal with.
Any thoughts/opinions?
Thank you!

I think I would edge stitch the white circles down first with white thread. I would then top stitch down the star ( starting at the center and stitching to the point) one point at a time. It looks like you have put in a lot of work and I might be tempted to hand appliqué it down.

Thank you for the feed back. And good point about removing the freezer paper. Sooo - I think I'll go with IMA to help with that issue and to make it more machine washing sturdy.
I appreciate your input and will post more pictures soon.
