Someone mentioned searching the web for applique designs. They said to search for "coloring pages"
Well, I am so grateful. I am making a quilt for my brother out of 8 inch squares of flannel and wanted to be able to quilt simple sports equipment in the center of the squares. I looked high and low and could not find what I was looking for. After I searched for coloring pages, I now have all the ones I wanted.
Golf, bowling, basketball, soccer, football, baseball and hockey.
Thank you so much for the suggestion. You Rock!!!!!

Isn't this board great? It's like having thousands of quilting friends...someone always has the answer. :)

I agree, whenever I need help I look on here. But then again, I always have my mentor, Adopted Mother, who I wouldn't have found without being on the board in the first place.

    I love it here!

This is a wonderful place. If one person doesn't have an answer lots of others do. I love it here.

Does anyone know where I might find a pattern of a 'lady bug' for me to applique on my step-granddaughter's baby quilt. I like whimsical but it's not necessarily the only way I'll choose one
