You could make some small drawstring bags or use baggies to see what you have and keep from rolling around.

While I haven't made this particular pattern, I have done quite a few by the same pattern designer. The patterns have been well written (if that helps!)

I’m addicted to plastic containers of any size����. For my hand work I have a larger containers with a handle and snap closures - inside I keep smaller containers (yes, plastic!!) for threads, pins and (right now) hexagon fabric pieces. Scissors.also have a container along with marking tools. I like this way for me much better than various types of bags, although sometimes I do out a few things into a bag once in awhile. I think a hand sewer needs to find what,works for them and what they like and use it.

I bought a small purse with a gazillion pockets inside and out, with wall-type separators on the inside, too, and use that as my "applique purse". It holds everything I need and much more.
