Appreciation for your quilt gift
My eye doctor literally saved my eyesight last year when I scratched my cornea and a corneal ulcer developed on it (look it up...it's pretty gross). I gifted her with a lap quilt today and told her that it was to thank her for her saving my eyesight and she cried. I was so touched because some people I give a quilt to don't even seem to understand how much time, money, and effort goes into one and that's why I only give my quilts to people I know and care about. Only other quilters will know what I'm talking about.
