I enjoy receiving this magazine each month just to see the beautiful quilts people have made and the new books on the market. However, if I had to reduce the amount of money I spend on quilting, this is probably the first thing I'd eliminate. I find other magazines give more info on creating quilts and are more useful to me.

I agree! What I save a year at JoAnn's more than pays for the membership and I still get the magazine, etc.

I would keep your membership to AQS. I joined for the first time this year and am glad I did. I got discounted ticket to the show, enjoy the magazine, emails, discounts. So far, seems worthwhile to me.

I let my subscription lapse because local JAF never honored the discount on sale items. :-( and small discount on overpriced items was not a bargain. Like others, I found some of the tecniques were beyond my level of expertise. I find so many free tips and classes online that it's hard to justify the subscription. Good luck...
