Arctic Holiday by Debbie Mumm - Have old apron panel, but no directions
Ok, so....I bought an apron panel in Arctic Holiday by Debbie Mumm last year on sale somewhere. I believe this line was originally released in approx 2007. The only problem is that there are no directions. I believe the 2 squares are pocket or hot pot holders or maybe one of each. Along the bottom are 3 multicolored snowflake pattern strips and 2 stripe strips (boy say that 3 times fast! lol). Any way, I was wondering if anyone else had made this in the past and could give me some direction on what goes where. I know I could just wing it, but I would like to know how it was intended to look when finished. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmmm....I was also thinking that the stripes were the ties since there are 2 and they are wide enough to fold in half. It is hard to see, but the snow flakes are actually 3 separate strips. I too thought at first that the 2 large squares were pot holders, but they could be pockets. Or....since there are 3 snow flake strips...maybe 1 for a loop at top to put you head into and then one for each tie, and the stripes could be binding on the inner curve of each side of the apron top. Gee, so many choices, see why I asked for help. LOL Thanks for your input, you have definitely given me a few more choices to consider!

I found your apron on Ebay for $8.95 including shipping and the add says the instructions are included just in case.
I also found this picture of a different apron of DM's, that shows the squares made into pot holders and also how the binding/strings are attached. It might solidify in your mind how your pattern should go together?

Good Luck!

Find a coordinating fabric and cut another apron. Hem the pockets and sew them to the front. Sew the two aprons together leaving the top edge open to turn it. Clip the curves and corners and turn right side out. Add ties to the top and the sides. Fold the top edges in and top stitch closed.
