    Default argyll month-January

I just read in my local newspaper, the Pueblo Chieftan, that January is traditionally argyll month. The article related the history of how Argyll came to be and argyll socks and how they are made. Somewhere I have instructions on how to make an Argyll quilt. Well, I have an Argyll sweater that I will be wearing to a meeting later today. I guess I am ahead of the game. Now to find those instructions.

I have seen one or two patterns show up I think one was in a magazine. Good luck in your search.

Well maybe I need to go out and get a pair of Argyll socks. Mine have all worn out. You think there will be any specials for them this month?

Maybe January is argyle month because you need all your woolens for the c-c-cold. I love argyle!

I love argyle too! Funny that I have a pair of argyle socks on right now (not handmade). If you find where the quilt pattern is, would you please post it? TIA...

I like the one where a strip of argyle shows on the back of the quilt.
