I am an excessive pinner - I love the way how the fabric stays flat and smooth. I used to not pin and found things not to be as smooth as they are now and wish I can redo. I wanted to finish things quickly but now enjoy the processof assembling.

Most of the time I don't pin. I will pin complex blocks. Today I was assembling a quilt as you go. I had to pin that to make sure my batting lined up especially when it came to the last couple of rows and the border. It was getting heavy and wouldn't stay together very well. One thing that I always pin is the borders.

I pin....I hate ripping out so try to avoid that, not always successful though :roll: :cry: :lol: :D

I use LOTS of pins, but have to take them out as I sew, my machine Eats pins!! :roll:
