    Hi ladies,
Any of you interested in going to a Quilting Retreat in Mt. Calm Texas outside of Waco?

I went to a retreat at the Compass Center this past weekend it was really great. I really enjoyed myself and got to meet many interesting quilters from the Austin and surrounding area.

I would like to arrange it for us if some of you are interested. The place is really neat and it is geared for quilters. Nice big sewing area w/ tables, comfy chairs,,good ligthing, ity and huge design boards.

We would be gone from Sunday through Thursdayand the cost is $63.60 per night for a total around $192.00 or so. Unsure what dates are available just PM with your interest and I will start working on a date as soon as I have some interest. We will need a minimum of 20 ladies to attend.
The price includes a room to be shared w/ 3 or 4 ladies, your meals breakfast you fix your own and 2 meals are homecooked by the owner who is also a quilter.

    Let's Quilt Till WE Wilt!!!!!

Bebe, might be able to go - would need to have dates, though. I've committed to keeping the baby for awhile off and on while the babysitter is on vacation, etc.

Am interested, but can't commit until I know dates.

Did you mean Thursday thru Sunday?

A retreat sounds really interesting!! and the price seems good too. Would participants be bringing their own projects or would there be a project taught by the retreat staff?? Virginia

    Hi Ladies,
We could choose to either do our own projects are work on a mystery or all of us work on the same project and purchase a book or pattern or if one of us wants to teach a class that will be fine also. Give me some idea as to when you ladies will be available so I can work on a date. Yes it is Sunday thru Thursday. The larger retreat house is already booked up for years in advance for the weekends.

In case we do not have enough participants for this large one we can go to a smaller one in Fredickburg. See classified section!!! This one is availabe for weekends. Just let me know what dates are best and I will strat working on it.

Sounds great. Just don't think I can make it. I am going to one at Stichin'Heaven in Quitman TX next week Tuesday thru Saturday. Really looking forward to it. Hope you get enough to make it.
