Well I wanted to thank all the ladies who sent us fabric once again. We had such grand plans to get this quilt done this summer. At least get the top done.

Well the summer officaly ends for us in ten days. And as of 10:30pm eastren tonight, we have reached half way. We have 55 blocks finished of the 111 that are needed. 6 more are cut out waiting to be stitched but race got exciting at the end.

Life got int he way of our quilting plans. That and we had some down right sloth like days. Add to that there were alot of days that one or two of us were not feeling well (fought migrains all summer).

But thanks again to everyone. We will get it done some time or another this year.

Just took a look at your blog. You have done a great job. I think it is a sort of murphys law of quilting that everything takes about 3times longer than you predict.

Thanks Pat. I've got to add the four blocks done last night. Normally I get them up as soon as they are done but the race ran till almost 11pm.
