    Default Aurifil Thread

Has anyone used Aurifil thread for quilting? I need a certain color and I have some Aurifil, but have never quilted with it, just pieced. Thanks for response.

Yes, I have used Aurifil 50 wt for quilting.

Straight line as well as FMQing.
    Bobbin and top thread.
Or on the bobbin with a different heavier weight non-Aurifil thread on top.

I have used Aurifil 50 wt in my Juki longarm with success in both top and bottom. Great thread.

I've recently used it in a couple of baby quilts on the Bernina my friend gave me, top and bottom. It did fine with both a reasonable and a too-thick batting.

I love Aurifil! I've used it for piecing in my vintage machines as well as my Juki 2200 QVP Mini and my Bernina. I've also used it to FMQ in my Juki without problems.

It’s terrific. Low lint and really easy to work with.
