A month ago I bought two large spools of Connecting Threads thread to last me several years. Then I was visiting my friend's knitting/quilting store in another town and bought an Aurifil spool upon her recommendation, and to give her some more business. I haven't tried the Aurifil thread yet and I'm anxious to see just how much of a difference there is. I'm wondering how you gals go ga ga over it (no disrespect intended). I mean, how can a spool of thread make such a difference??? Now that I have all these yards and yards of thread from Connecting Threads I'm afraid to try Aurifil for not wanting any other thread!!!

I use and like Connecting Threads too. I like having choices. And with so many threads available now it's impossible to have just one favorite.
