    I use mine ALL the time. That was one of my main requests when I bought a new macnine. Maybe your needle isn't all the way up, try that.

    I used mine when I first got the machine, but then started forgetting and couldn't get it to work. But I bought a needle inserter and threader in one that I use on occasion. I use the needle inserting part the most.

    I use mine all the time with a 90/14 needle, but can't with anything smaller. And the needle does have to be all the way up.

    I'm with you there. I've had my New Home for 20 years & I don't think I've ever had it work for me, so I gave up trying.

    Mine is on a Brother. You have to have the needle all the way up or it will not work. Good luck.

    I use mine all the time, after my husband tweeked it abit, the hook wasn't lining up with the eye of the needle, I have a Phaff 2048 machine.

    Love mine..........use it non stop. What kind of machine do you have. One reason we bought my machine is for the self threading application............all i can say is wow..
