What a great idea Linda. I can't imagine how many bedskirts I have passed up at yard sales. LOL

Thats a great idea!!! I have used tablecloths to make my kitchen valances and table runners etc. Got a table cloth on clearance for 3.24 at target and used it to make 2 valances, a window shade, a small tabletopper and two seat cushions. On the seat cusions I just had enough fabric for the tops so I used a coordinating fabric and then attached the rubber shelf lining for non slip cushions!!!
I can be very frugal lol cheryl

I have a pillow top amd high, so I get a bed skirt the closet length from box spring to floor, put it between box and mattress. I also have a step to get up with and am always wacking it with my little toe. Any ideas?

I use the center of the bed skirts for foundation piecing. It is strong but lightweight and a lot of fabric for your small change at a thrift store.

I used the center to make 2 body pillows, depending on the skirt it's good sturdy fabric :). Great idea for the binding !
