I'm wanting to make a new but bigger recieving blanket for my new granddaughter. She kicks a lot and at two months old most recieving blankets are sized for new borns and it is hard to swaddle her in them. When I looked at the flannel at WalMart it all says "not intended for children's sleepwear". Can anyone tell me a good source for flannel for this purpose. Of course I don't want to endanger a baby. Thanks for any and all help.

They make swaddler blankets just for this purpose.

Seeing that she is 2 months old as well, she might not want to be swaddled too much longer. I know my kids weren't. Hope this helps.

You could always just use cotton or the minkee fabric too.
