I think it would be adorable - I really like the ruffle idea.

This embroidery is adorable - I love it and I am a girl! So yes adding girly colors would make it

My baby brother had this quilt and I was always a little jealous. I think it would be perfect for a girl or boy.

It looks girly to me. Pink and ruffles? Girly for sure. I say go for it and have fun.

Default baby girl quilt continues wip

worked all weekend to get this far this was a tricky project(to me) you have to off set all the blocks to line up with the tracks then trim and square up but all in all not that hard to do and juli who digitize the embroidery designs answered my email and help me http://www.sewweird.com/VintageBabyAnimalTrain.htm I'm open for suggestions what to do from this point I was thinking pinwheels top and bottom but don't know about the sides just want it crib size

And little girls loves trains, too. Our granddaughter sure did love Thomas the Train for a while...I don't know that she plays much with them now. But probably does in spurts. Yet she is totally girly...she is the pink princess, you know. That is what she used to tell us. LOL
