    I bought the Rachel for my great niece about 16 months ago. It was $399 with an acrylic extension table. I was able to sew with it last Aug & really liked it. I would buy that for myself if I hadn't bought a Bernina.

    I have the Babylock Jane, straight stitch only. It has a 9" throat, needle up/down, thread cutter. Easy to clean and maintain. Used it for 6-1/2 years. I can quilt queen sized quilts on it. Cost much more than any of those.
