My first granddaughter is on the way and both parents and grandpa are high school sports coaches. I haven't been able to find anything that isn't too cutesy. These people are serious about their sports. I would still like it to have a girl theme or coloring. Please help me out and post pictures of anything you have made or ideas you have seen.

Joanns has some really cute pink soccer fabric. It's was nice and girly but not over the top

Do the families have favorite college or pro teams? There are college and pro team fabrics out there that are now done in pinks for the girls like this one that I have.

have you tried joann fabrics. they have great sports prints and not just for boys. i've seen everything tennis, volleyball etc.

I was going to second the girly-colored pro or college team fabric.

Or, depending on their sport of choice, you could make the quilt look like the playing area! A pink football field or basketball court would be adorable and probably pretty easy. :)
