    Default Babylock Crescendo feet

Hi all! I've been blessed to have my new Crescendo from Babylock. My fiancée paid 1/2 with me so I'm very delighted! I do have a question though: I have a Babylock Melody and on that machine when I finished stitching and the thread was automatically cut, the foot raised automatically. I find that when I do so on the Crescendo it doesn't do it unless I touch the icon on the machine which when sewing and I stop the foot raises up slightly (for pivoting purposes). Without the icon pressed when I have the thread cutter used the foot stays down. If I use the icon the foot goes up. For those of you who own this machine am I missing something? I've read the manuals and searched online so I'm asking here. Thanks all for reading!

Maybe that model doesn't have that feature. Have you asked your dealer?

I think if you have the pivoting feature on it will leave the needle down. Have you tried without the pivoting feature but with the cutting feature on

    Peckish,
I called the dealer but he wasn't in the shop.

    Dolphyngyrl,

I didn't think of that with the scissors icon on, actually didn't know there was one but I'll look at the manual again. Thanks for checking all.
