Default Babylock Espire to the shop

I was working on binding a few mug rugs. The upper thread started breaking. I did the regular routine, cleaned out the bobbin, changed needle, etc. when I went to retread, I realized the problem seemed to be that the re-threading mechanism was rubbing against the sewing mechanism. I can't figure out how it got unaligned, but I hope it's not expensive to fix. Or that it's gone in the shop too long!

Thank goodness I have five or six vintage back ups, lol

Anyone ever very have this problem with their babylock?
