I can get this with the two tuto cases for $ 2350. this has been used for one yr. I think it is the owner of a quilt shop. What do you think?

I started with that machine in 2014. It's a great machine.
It has a fairly nice sized hoop and stitch field/stitch count capability.

How many stitches are on the machine? Are the offering classes so you can learn the features? There were printed manuals with that machine so make sure they are included or that you can still download them on the web-site.

Make sure you are getting all the original size hoops that came with the machine. They are listed in the manual.

Does the machine have the "upgrades" done? It allows a larger hoop size than the original size hoop. (I don't remember the exact size). There may have been more "upgrades" available but I'm not aware of them.

The machine doesn't have camera capabilities that allow you to scan the hoop and fabric. You can pin point and get the stitch out on the mark you want with other techniques such as marking a cross as reference points.

Upgrades are items that are sold for the machine and usually installed by the dealer. There will be a usb stick that is individual to the "upgrade".

Updates are on the web-site for free. You can download and update your machine.

I don’t know when BL stopped offering that machine. They sometimes just re name the different models.

Is the machine still showing as an available model on the BL web site?

Were you able to check for upgrades, hoop size, and stitch count on the machine?

It does sound like a good deal.

The post states “it’s been used for one year”. Perhaps the owner bought it and only used it for one year. It is an older model, parts may not be available for it and service manuals may not be available either.
