I have this issue intermittently with my Babylock Soprano. It almost always happens when I have multiple layers of fabric/batting that I'm sewing like quilt binding or topstitching handbag handles or potholders. I can't figure out how to make it stop. The Soprano has auto adjusting tension so I've never manually changed it. I've cleaned thoroughly, changed to new needle, re-threaded thread and bobbin, etc. I'm typically using 80/12 microtex Schmetz needles with 50wt cotton thread. I will get some Organ needles - any other suggestions? i do get my machine serviced regularly by a Babylock professional and he hasn't found any issues. btw, I'm just using a regular foot, not the walking foot, I'll try that but I don't think it's helped in the past.
