These 2 quilts are my D9P that I finished last year and sent to the quilter. I love them and they are already gracing my home on the Lake! The first one i was upset b/c I had wanted my lighthouses to go the same direction. Now I'm glad they don't! It's so much nicer this way. The second one, I made a scrappy binding and I really love it too. It's hard to tell that they're the same pattern, isn't it?

It is difficult to see that they are the same pattern. No matter, they are both beautiful in their own ways. I love your lighthouses.

The sailboat quilt originally started out as placemats. I didn't get very far with them and found better fabric to use. I already had all these 3 " squares cut and had found a blog that showed how to make a D9P. I should've checked here first. so anyway, the lighthouse quilt I wanted to look more organized. and it does. Thanks for your appreciation.

Very nice! But are you sure they're the same pattern? Amazing, isn't it?
