I have a 4 month of kitty, that loves to be in my sewing room. Does the same things, eats the thread, tries to catch the needle and "tries" to get my flower pins. When it gets to be too much, I shut him out of my room...if I want to get anything done.

Having said that, how many times a day do you physically pick her up and toss her (gently, of course) out of your sewing room? lol
Wish I had a sewing room! I share the family room with everyone else. I let her stay on my sewing table or machine as long as she doesn't start trying to "catch" the needle as it goes up and down, or if she doesn't eat my thread or flower head pins! I have my thread on a cone holder and she has tried to go between it and my machine with very intangling results!LOL

I love your kitty! She's as goofy as mine. My kitty (Molly
layed in the harp of my machine, but moved before I could take a picture.

Your cat just loves to help you, but she has her own ideas and doesn't seem to like your ideas! She is so adorable! I wish my cat would help me - ever since we moved to a new house with my niece and her dog, she has deceided that she is the upstairs cat, and won't come down to sit on my lap anymore - I miss that.

I love your kitty. Reminds me of the one we used to have.

When I was a teenager, I had a cat named Molly. She was a fearless mother who kept us well supplied with barn cats. My father didn't allow animals in the house, but I'd frequently sneak one of Molly's kittens into the house (with my mother's permission).

I love naughty kitties. My husband and I got a kick out of the pics of her playing with your fabric strips.
