My husband doesn't know who has the most material, me or my sister-in-law. She's not a quilter but she is "a material girl".
You might try washing the quilt a few times, drying on a lighter setting. It dose not look that bad. Try an air drying to fluff the batting with some heavy towels to bounce it around more in the dryer.

Yes, it was on the news this morning that the price of cotton has gone up 400%. I think a lot of us are now using our stash and thinking twice about buying more fabric if we don' have a real need for it. But what is it doing to our wonderful Quilt Stores whne we cut back on our fabric purchases!!!!
