As a follow up to my pevious post:
I just want to say that I was pleasantly surprised that The Fat Quarter Shop contacted me (sent a PM) about the wonky Moda Charm Packs that I had to square up to make the baby quilt. They apologized and offered to replace that charm pack. Since I'd made the best of the inferior charm pack, they offered to send me another charm pack of my choice or a gift certif to use at a future time. I was impressed by their concern for customer relationships. Hats off to The Fat Quarter Shop for caring and standing behind their good reputation!

I'm so glad to have read your post. I have been drawn to bali pops but don't buy them because if you figure it out, you get less than two yards in one pack AND THEY ARE EXPENSIVE.

    Thanks!
I bought one at my local LQS that was fine. The strips were cut straight and they were the correct width.
Glad to hear it! I haven't used mine yet but my lqs keeps restocking them and she must not be getting complaints or I think she would stop. Fingers crossed that mine are fine!

This was a good post but it has been deleted or pulled.
I wanted to cross reference that one to this one for you but it is gone.
    Don't know why. Sorry.

    Thanks for letting us know.

Maybe Hoffman doesn't provide the cutters with rulers and they are expected to eyeball the cuts? ('m being sarcastic here) Maybe that would explain the unevenness of the strips?

OMG! I went looking the other day and could not find the right color (strawberry fields) for my purse pattern. I am so glad that I couldn't find any. I have only used the moda too,and I had no idea that there was a problem with the hoffman bali pops. Thanks for the heads up!
I guess I could just cut them myself. It isn't all that hard. Gee for that amount of money those little buggers are, you would think they would make sure they were at least uniform and straght!
