    Thanks, they are just so ADORABLE !!!! I was thinking of making them with lace/buttons & beads as accent trim. Do you have any idea what size you cut the arms and legs?

    No. I just went for it. I would measure right now, but I sent him to WY for competition. You just guestimate for your own design. I did the shoes just out of thought. No set pattern. I took the softball and cut off the top coat and used that for my pattern for body. I made the eyes out of yo yos, stuffed a smaller yo yo for nose and sewed on. I used a pattern from bird brain design for the hat. Thought to come up with some different hats for each different character.

    Thanks, as soon as I finish up the two big projects I am working on now I plan on doing one. Just love them.

    If you play tennis, or live anywhere near a tennis court, that would probably be a good place to get some "free" balls too.......and I think tennis balls would work well for this. I used to buy them for one of my dogs, she loved to pick the fuzz off.....wonder if any of those are still around here? Anyways, maybe a tennis ball could be softer too, for the pins to stick in? Your BALL MAN is so cute, I sure hope you win...
