I have never done the Baptist Fan quilting motif/pattern and need some advice on the path. Do I start at the bottom corner and work edge to edge or start at the corner and work diagonally.

Would working diagonally run the risk the quilt going skew-wiff?

I will be using HQ Sweet 16 sit down machine with the Half Circles set of template/rulers

There are YouTube videos on using rulers to do Baptist Fans. I would watch a few to see which method you liked better.
