    I've seen the pictures on here of the beautiful Bargello quilts. I know how to do the basic ones (sew a tube, cut, unstitch one, stitch the rows) but I want to make the twisty ones like in this thread: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-75135-1.htm

    And with Xmas coming up, I was thinking I'd put a Bargello book on my list. I found this one at Borders: http://www.borders.com/online/store/...sku=1564779432 (Twist and Turn Bargello). Is that a good one? Or is there a different one you'd recommend?

    It's an excellent book, I made my first one from it.

    Don't be afraid, they are easy to make and very forgiving of unmatched seams! It was a wonderful beginner project for me because I got fast, impressive results.
