there are many bargello books on the market- some teaching you the technique of a particular layout- some showing you how to draft your own design. do a 'bargello quilts' search- you will find many.

Lockwood designs have some fabulous patterns - I made 'Disco' of his and it was very easy to follow as long as I stayed organised! http://www.lockwoodquilts.com/store/...lo_quilts.html

And here's mine - not yet quilted! http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-95466-1.htm

Tons of books out there..take it from experience..start with a basic concept and a book that shows you the steps..I went for an advance one first and had one H--- of a time..lol..stuck with it and loved it..now addicted..but it could ruin it for people if the 1st one isn't easy enough to follow and finish!!

    Not a good 1st idea !!
