    Default Basting Spray

Has anyone tried the new Elmer's Basting Spray? I just found it on Hobby Lobby web site and the price is great, in 11 oz. can. I'm a patient person, I could wait for it to dry, but then can it be sewn through? Need info, please.

Haven't seen the advertisement yet, interesting. Call the store, they should be able to tell you.

HL website is down right now, but on the Elmer site there is no mention of a basting spray. Tried to call, but they are closed now. They do have an 11 oz multipurpose spray. Could that be the one you saw? That one, I don't think, is washable. If I were you, I would call Elmer's and ask about it. They may not have updated their website yet. Please let us know. I would like to try it!

Yes, Elmer's Multi-Purpose Spray. Can says permanent, but school glue is also permanent until you wash it out.

    Price $6.99 for 11 oz.

If it dries permanent that means it's not washable and should not be used
    on quilts.

I have to agree - it will not wash out. Elmer's would list it as being washable. Maybe we should write to Elmer's and ask them to develop a spray washable glue since we like their school glue so well.

I haven't seen it. Is there a toll free number on the can you could call?
