    you can certainly mix any fabrics you want with your batiks- they are just cottons too- some have a tighter weave than the printed fabrics you often use but that's not an issue- just be sure to pre-wash the batiks- sometimes they run quite a bit- you don't want to turn your white light blue or gray-

    I have mixed them many times and as long as they are a similar thickness then it works well and if it isn't it still works good. I hope that you post a pic soon.

    You can mix them. I used the backside of a cream on cream recently. It was the only color I wanted, but the roses were too distinct on the front. I wonder if my daughter knows. She's pretty observant.

    I would love to post a picture when it's done, but I'm scared to death to do so. I've read so many posts about pics being "too big". I love to quilt but not too savvy on resizing pictures and posting. I have pictures of quite a few quilts I'm proud of but didn't know how to post them.
