    any quilters out there that fish and know the color of walleyes.
    need to locate a batik of those colors, hve searched all over so would appreciate it if anyone comes across any if you could let me know the info. Am making a quilt for DH who is an avid fisherman, so am stuck until I find some.

    If you google walleye you will find all kinds of photos to look at. They are largely olive and golden in color.

    We are avid fishers for walleye and perch. Walleye have a cream color belly, their sides are different shades of green to gray with a faint yellow between the cream(belly) and green (sides), fins are mixed green and yellow. Hope this helps.

    Here is a Lake Erie walleye.

    I caught this one in the July 07.

    I know what colors I need, but need to know if anyone has come across any batiks, if so let me know where.

    I love to fish also! That is a beauty. Can't help with the colors though but will keep a lookout.

    This place seems to have every different kind of batik fabric imaginable, maybe you will find just the right one.

    I think people were just trying to describe the fish for those of us that aren't familiar so we would know if we had the fabric
