    Default batting problems

Anybody ever have issues with a poly batting coming thru the bottom of the quilt while using a long arm? is it a tension issue or "cheap batting"

more likely a less-than-awesome-quality backing fabric.

are you able to switch to a smaller size needle?
    that might help.

this does sometimes happen. I've heard--I don't use poly batts--that fluff drying (tossing in the dryer with no heat, only air) it after quilting and binding is complete solves the problem. Also the needle size, as said above, may help. Or a new, sharp needle.

sometimes after washing the quilt, those holes close up a bit as well.
