Batting

my grandma in law swears by the dream line. she loves it all. and only uses that stuff. I have a couple baby quilts with the dream one that is cotton. she loves the wool the best though. but doesn't get to buy a lot.

There have been quite a few favorable posts about Dream Wool batting, and I have never seen a negative one about it. It seems to be great for both hand and machine quilting.
Have also seen positives about Dream Puff (and no negatives); just haven't seen as many posts as the wool. I'm not sure if Dream Puff would work well for machine quilting, as high loft battings are more difficult.
Have you tried doing a search on the QB?
Edit: I just searched on dream wool and it pulled up quite a few prior threads. You might want to do that for both dream wool and dream puff to see what previous comments have been made about them.

1. How puffy or lofty is Hobbs Poly-Down? I don't care for the flatness of Warm & Natural/White and would like to try something not so flat and also a bit warmer and not shrink like cotton does.
2. Is it true that wool batting isn't too warm in the summer? It's amazing that the Dream Wool says it won't shrink (with proper laundering, of course). Any experience with those aspects?
3. I quilt with a walking foot on my old home sewing machines so might Dream Puff be "too much of a good thing"?
Thanks so much for any opinions from your experiences.
