    I don't think you actually would need a high loft poly unless that is the look you want. For tied or machine quilted quilts that get a lot of use and washing, our guild has found that Hobbs Polydown has really worked well. It has enough loft, is very uniform (seldom ever see a thin or thick spot) quilts, washes and wears well and is affordable. We buy it by the 30 yard roll and use several each year.
